How Many Steps Should Aim For?
How many steps a day is a fad that’s been around for some time since health watches became a trend. But what is a good amount of walking is it 10,000 steps a day or more? One study suggests that walking 8000 – 11,000 steps a day is a good recommendation for healthy adults. In the same study, a sedentary lifestyle is considered in the range of 5000 steps a day.
“Walking 8000 – 11,000 steps a day is a good recommendation for healthy adults.”
From my personal experience walking 4500 – 6000 steps a day was enough for me to feel good and in a way a bit meditative. 5000 steps a day usually take about 1 hour to walk at a relaxed pace. However, how many steps you should walk comes down to more steps the better but 4000 is enough to keep your body healthy.

How Does Walking Affect Your Muscle Recovery?
“Walking for 20 minutes after your workout helps the muscles to recover.”
From my experience, I noticed on my recovery days when I walked 5000 steps or so I found my muscles to be more pronounced. Although I haven’t yet documented it in photos, let me know if you want me to do a follow on this topic.
